When I log out I usually auto log in to my cell phone but I have changed my number so I don't want my IM's going to my old number. I have tried via preffs with no luck....How do I edit/Change my cell phone number for my IM?
Open Yahoo messenger on your PC and click on ';Messenger'; and then preferences in the top left-hand toolbar.
At the bottom of the general tab, select ';Edit Mobile Device';.
When you get to that page, DELETE your old mobile device and then add your new one. If you're device is deleted, there's no chance of anything being sent there from Yahoo messenger.
