How can i change my cell phone number?

I just got a phone (Samsung Hype), and i want to change the beginning of the number (416). I want to change it to 647. Is it possible to change the number by just calling the company? or do i need to get to the store?

yes you should go to the store and writte it down if that number that you`d like to have is not sold you can have it from the store , if its sold you can call the person who has this number now , and ask him /her to sell it to you or exchange it with your number
