How easy is it to change my BT phone number?

Very easy, just phone and ask them, usually done within a couple of days.

If you want to do it free, tell them that the reason you need to change it is because a young female member of your family is receiving obscene phone calls which is distressing her. I got it done free cos I was gettin nusance calls- make sure you say you/your daughter etc is gettin these calls cos i think otherwise they charge. Call the nusance calls dept
You phone them up, i beleive it was a 拢30 charge for this summer 2006 so it may have gone up in price, if it is because you are having problems with somebody you know, speak to the police , they will give you a reference number to give to bt and thye wont charge.
Call BT and explain to them you are having nuisance calls and your number will be changed for free. BT do charge for changing your number more than once. Call BT sales on 150 and they can give you a number there and then, the renumber will take around a week.
