Changing my phone number?

I have a pre-paid AT%26amp;T GoPhone. How can I change my phone number? Ever since I've had the phone I have been getting an insane amount of calls for someone named Stacy so I have obviously been given someone's old number - I get texts too and it is draining my minutes.



I *heard* there was a fee to change numbers but I don't know if that applies with pre-paid. Would it be better to just wait until my plan is ';cancelled'; out?Changing my phone number?
you can change your phone number. the fee should be less than 5 dollars. call your phones customer service and see how much. if the 5 bucks is worth it then go for it.
