ok so i want the sidekick 2008 the 1$ a day prepaid plan and im going to activate it at home how do i keep my same number?Do i have to change my phone number?
If you all ready had a SIM card from T-Mobile, then all you would do is put your previous SIM card into the phone and you would still have your number.



But if you had a SIM card from a different company you could unlock the phone (easy to do) then use your old SIM card with it and you would still have your old phone number. If you didn't want to unlock the phone, and go with T-Mobile, I'm pretty sure you would have to get a new phone number.



If you were with a provider that did not use SIM cards, and programmed the number into the cell phone, then you switched to T-Mobile, you would have to get a different phone number unfortunately.

I had to change my number 3 months ago and that's what I said.
I have had to change my number 2 times with verizon because of prank calls and it was free for me. I did it in the store though so I am not sure if it is free on line as well.
Just to change the phone number, it is free for your first time changing, there after I think it's $20.00. They can even do it over the phone you don't have togo to the store at all, just dial *611 from your cell phone Hope I helped =)

no u can not forward just those #'s to another one. sorry i know on my phones i just go in and change the incoming calls through the security where only the people that are on my contact list can ring through and the rest just go to voicemail without me hearing it ring.

However if we see on your account that you have had multiple phone number changes done in the past or had your phone number changed... i think it's in the past 90 days (with out the policy it's kindda hard.. i'm just going by memory here) we will charge you for the number change.



We do get the people that have a harassing ex so they change their number, then they get back with their ex %26amp; give them the new number... so ya.... if we see it's a re occurring thing we won't let you do it for free... but no worries if this is a first for you :)
